Italian Citizenship: Success!

Today I had my appointment at the Italian consulate in Houston to present my documentation to claim my Italian citizenship.

It went far better than I could have expected.

The consulate is located on the 6th floor of the Wells Fargo Tower on Post Oak Boulevard in Houston. I arrived about a half-hour early for my 9:00 am appointment. Unfortunately, they do not actually open until 9:00 am, so I and seven other people also …
